Mainstage Center for the Arts to deliver jam packed summer season

As a finish to Mainstage’s summer performances, Harmony show choir will present its Bon Voyage concert on Sunday, Aug. 8, at 7:30 p.m. Harmony is a 50-member show choir which puts together programs from Broadway to Disney to oldies, and more for schools, assemblies, dinners, and fairs. Bon Voyage tickets are $9 for children/senior citizens and $11.00 adults. Summer Stage's Children's Theatre season wraps up Aug. 3 to 5 with Disney Princesses and Friends, a musical revue featuring Disney’s most beloved “song and dance” production numbers including “Be Our Guest,” “Once Upon a Dream,” “Under the Sea,” “Colors of the Wind,” and “Friend Like Me,” to name just a few. For its evening Mainstage performance, MCA will present “Hairspray,” the Tony-award winning musical that takes audiences to Baltimore, 1962, where Tracy Turnblad is a big girl with big hair and a big dream – to dance on the Corny Collins Show. “You Can't Stop the Beat” of Hairspray which runs July 22, 23, 29 and 30, 7:30 p.m. • Children’s Theater Aladdin-themed Coloring Contest – Children ages 4 through 10 are invited to complete the Aladdin coloring page and application, available in the Mainstage office, Room 22, Lincoln Hall, Camden County College. Please return entries to Mainstage by July 5 for a chance to win two tickets to any of its Children's Theatre performances. The winner will be selected on July 8th.
