I encourage the endeavor. It is a great dream that “can” easily be realized on a surprisingly frugal budget. But unless your real name is Superman, you might want to forget the oars. You will probably want (and can get by with) a very small outboard motor. Oars, even on a small ocean capable sailboat, will be totally useless.
