0823 — Police took a report on a car accident near Main/Pope. One person complained of pain, but declined transport to the hospital.

 0831 — An officer responded to Grayson for a report of a person with a small amount of marijuana. Police took a report.

1056 — Report of loud people parked on an access road near Fir Hill. An officer determined the music was at a reasonable volume.

1159 — Report of people yelling at passing motorists and throwing items into the street near Adams/Railroad. An officer checked the area.

1308 — Report of construction causing a traffic hazard at Main/Pratt. Police found AT&T doing some work and not causing problems.

1705 — Report of a car passing unsafely over double yellow lines near Main/Sulphur Springs. An officer checked the area.

2225 — Police responded to a vehicle off the road in a ditch at Highway 29/Lodi Lane. The CHP found the car and its driver, who was not injured.

2313 — Report of loud music at an apartment on Monte Vista. Police found a resident watching TV loudly and advised him of the complaint.

2328 — Report of a suspicious man with a pickup truck possibly stealing from the newspaper racks outside Sunshine.

Wednesday, June 8

1200 — A parked car was keyed on Grayson. Police took a report.

1202 — A Chihuahua found on Hudson was returned to its owner after spending the afternoon at the city kennel.

1800 — Report of two suspicious men in a Camaro at the cemetery. Police checked the area.

1830 — The interior of a convertible was egged while parked at Oak/Spring.

2045 — A person got locked out of their vehicle near Main/Vidovich. An officer helped them get in.

Thursday, June 9

0036 — Police responded to a loud party on Mitchell and found minors and alcohol. The host was cited under the city’s social host ordinance.

0658 — A caller reported hearing strange noises in a neighbor’s back yard on Tainter, possibly an animal attacking chickens. Police contacted the resident, who confirmed it had been the chickens, but they hadn’t been in trouble.

0737 — Report of a vehicle into a ditch at Highway 29/Lodi Lane. An officer assisted until the CHP arrived.

0818 — Police and fire units responded to the high school for a fire alarm activation. The call was canceled before police arrived, and an officer contacted a staff member about a student who had emptied out a fire extinguisher as a prank. Police took a report and contacted the student’s probation officer.
